Jahongir Alimov is a microbiologist and received his BSc in Biology from Gulistan State University (2016), and his M.Sc. in Biotechnology (2019) from the National University of Uzbekistan. He was an exchange student at the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra, Republic of Slovakia, through the Erasmus Mundus Program. His research interests focus on the microbial diversity of extreme environments. From 2019 to 2021, he was a lecturer in Microbial biotechnology in the Department of Microbiology and Biotechnology, National University of Uzbekistan.
