Visit of Professor Astrida Miceikienė from Vytautas Magnus University to IAU

The International Agricultural University recently had the honor of hosting Professor Astrida Miceikienė from Vytautas Magnus University in Lithuania. Professor Miceikienė, the Chancellor of the Agriculture Academy, part of Vytautas Magnus University celebrating its centenary this year, visited IAU to explore opportunities for collaboration.

During her visit, Professor Miceikienė met with Dr. Munira Aminova and Dr. Slawomir Wroblewski to discuss the potential for cooperation in various areas. Key topics included the exchange of students and staff under the Erasmus+ program and the creation of new teaching fields to enhance academic offerings at both institutions.

Furthermore, the discussions extended to the development of joint master’s studies and programs for young doctors. Vytautas Magnus University has noted a high level of interest in its agricultural study programs, which are designed to equip graduates with the skills needed for attractive job opportunities in the agricultural sector.
