Visit of Dutch guests to IAU

On March 14, our university was visited by representatives of the well-known Dutch company TST AGRO, active in Uzbekistan in various fields related to agricultural production, including dairy and mechanization. Company founder Mr.Ton Shotman cited his country’s experience in trying to make farming efficient. It is worth emphasizing that this small country provides 80% of the world’s production of greenhouse vegetables. Mr.Alisher Mukhamedjanov, General Director of TST-Agro, shared his experience in introducing foreign models in the countries of Central Asia. It was agreed that the International Agriculture University will be an important partner for developing projects in Uzbekistan. One of the main advantages for our cooperation is the lack of language barrier of our students and preparation for international cooperation. Joint creation of a model farm and trips of small groups of highly motivated students to foreign centers are planned.
