The new opportunities in Spain for the students of the International Agriculture University

We are pleased to announce that Munira Aminova, Rector of the International Agriculture University (IAU), has made a fruitful business trip to Spain with the support of the Embassy of Uzbekistan.

During the visit, which took place on July 12-13, Rector Aminova held productive meetings with heads of leading agricultural universities in Spain, including the Castile-La Mancha and the Polytechnic University of Madrid.

The discussions focused on the development of cooperation between IAU and Spanish universities, with special attention paid to providing talented IAU students, researchers and faculty with opportunities for internships, summer vacation schools, master’s and doctoral studies, as well as professional development programs in Spain.

We are pleased to announce that the meetings resulted in the signing of memoranda of cooperation, emphasizing the commitment of both parties to the development of educational exchanges. These agreements will bring notable Spanish professors and lecturers to IAU and establish valuable relationships in a variety of other areas.

In addition, Rector Aminova took the opportunity to familiarize herself with the activities of EDIBON, a well-known Spanish company specializing in the production of laboratory equipment for leading educational institutions in Spain. An agreement was reached to cooperate with EDIBON in areas such as agricultural processing, irrigation technology and quality control. This cooperation will make a great contribution to providing IAU with advanced teaching equipment.
