Module Description
This module is designed to raise the students’ understanding of the variety of production systems in the Livestock sector, as well as explore the opportunities and threats for the farm management. The module contents will include: -Applied practical management of reproduction, lactation, nutrition and growth and development within commercial production systems. -Physical and financial husbandry details of livestock enterprises and factors affecting profitability. -Animal health and welfare. Disease recognition, treatment and prevention. |
