International agriculture university opens its doors to prospective students
On April 7th, 2023, International Agriculture University held its Open Doors Day event for prospective students, attracting around 100 participants from all over the country. The event was aimed at showcasing the university’s facilities and programs to potential students who are interested in pursuing a degree in agriculture.
The event was a great success, as attendees had the opportunity to explore the university’s campus and participate in a range of interactive activities. These activities included hands-on workshops and presentations on various aspects of agriculture, such as food sustainability, climate change, plant breeding and animal husbandry. The university also provided detailed information about its academic programs, admission requirements, and grant opportunities.
“We are thrilled to have welcomed so many prospective students to our university,” said Mr Shakhriyor Sadullaev, Senior manager at the Applicants support centre. “We believe that our Open Doors Day event provided a unique opportunity for students to learn more about our programs, meet our faculty, and experience our campus first-hand.”
Participants of the event included not only students from secondary schools or technical schools but also students from Tashkent State Agrarian University’s Lyceum, who were especially interested in exploring the university’s facilities and programmes.
