Module Description

This module is designed to develop students’ academic English skills in preparation for more effective undergraduate study throughout the subsequent years of the programme. An introduction to the conventions of academic English is delivered through development of reading, writing, listening and speaking skills in a variety of registers and within English HE educational, subject-relevant agri-business vocabulary and cultural contexts.
