Module Description

This module introduces students to key concepts and opportunities relating to uses of and types of ICT to improve the efficiency in the management of farm businesses. Farm data recording and analysis.  Students will practise digital file creation and management; network and data security; web browsing and information searching; on-line communication including email etiquette and personal IT security; creation, formatting and finishing of word-processed documents; use of spreadsheets including formatting, standard formulae and creation of graphs and charts; creation of presentations, and some introductory work on project planning
