On March 3–4, 2026, the Regional Symposium “TNE: Quality Assurance and Inclusion in the Context of Growth” was held at Westminster International University in Tashkent. The event was organised in partnership with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the British Council.

Associate Professor Ravshan Asamov from International Agriculture University participated in the symposium alongside representatives of universities, international organisations, and higher education experts from Uzbekistan and the United Kingdom.

During the symposium, participants discussed important topics related to quality assurance in higher education, inclusive learning environments, and the future development of transnational education (TNE). Experts and policymakers shared experiences, successful practices, and policy approaches that support the expansion of international academic cooperation.

Special sessions and panel discussions focused on improving academic standards, strengthening institutional partnerships, developing joint educational programmes, and ensuring accessibility and inclusiveness in higher education systems. The exchange of best practices between the UK and Uzbekistan provided valuable insights and highlighted new opportunities for strengthening international collaboration and enhancing the quality of education.

Participation in such an important regional platform was a valuable professional experience and created new perspectives for further cooperation in the field of higher education and academic development.
