Roundtable Discussion on “Enlightenment Against Ignorance” Held at International Agriculture University

The International Agriculture University recently hosted a roundtable discussion titled “Enlightenment Against Ignorance” for its students, focusing on the importance of education and critical thinking in countering harmful ideologies.

The event featured D. Makhmudov, a representative from the Committee on Religious Affairs, who spoke on the negative influence of extremist movements on young minds and their proliferation via social media platforms. Makhmudov emphasized the significance of critical thinking and scientific knowledge as tools for students to safeguard themselves against such adverse influences.

Additionally, the discussion explored the legacy of Abu Isa Muhammad at-Tirmidhi and examined the enduring relevance of his works in the context of today’s society.
