Choosing a university can be confusing and frustrating. Different tuition fees for similar courses and perceptions of the differences in the quality of education are often the main concern when considering foreign universities. But equally important is the student experience and level of student engagement in the university.

A university is not simple a campus, it is a ‘way of life’ shaped by the history, traditions, and culture of the university. The façade of the buildings, lecture halls and canteens are important but more importantly is the character, atmosphere, and culture of the university. This determines the nature of the student experience and how students are engaged in their studies.
